Makar Voinarovskyi (2005)

| Ukraine

Professor | Oksana Rapita

My name is Makar Voinarovskyi. I was born on the 23rd of December, 2005, in Lutsk, Ukraine. There, I studied at Music School No.1, named after Frederic Chopin, in the class of teacher Svitlana Bieliaeva. During that time, I performed numerous solo recitals and participated in various International Piano Competitions. In all of them, I achieved first and second prizes or Grand Prix awards. Some of the competitions include the “Młodzi wirtuozi” International Piano Competition named after Karl Czerny (Zamość, Poland), the Piano Competition named after György Ferenczy (Budapest, Hungary), and the “Shopeniwska Wesna” (“Chopin’s Spring”) International Piano Competition (Lutsk, Ukraine), among others. In 2021, I began my studies at Lviv State Music Lyceum named after Solomia Krushelnytska, in the class of Prof. Oksana Rapita. Currently, I am a student at Lviv National Music Academy named after Mykola Lysenko, in the class of Prof. Oksana Rapita. Music runs in my entire family, but my father is also a jazz pianist. Consequently, jazz holds a special place in my heart, and I enjoy performing it. I have already played jazz concertos with an orchestra. Apart from music, I have an interest in sports and enjoy reading literature on science, philosophy, history, or fantasy. I strive to develop in various directions. It would be a great honor and pleasure to perform at this competition.
