Collins Tanujaya, the 17-year-old Indonesian started learning the piano from his mother when he was three years old. In 2012, he won 3rd prize at the Alberti International Piano Competition and was invited to the winners' concert in Carnegie Hall. At the age of 12, he won 3rd prize in the America Protégé International Music Competition and was invited back to the winners' concert at Carnegie Hall for the second time. He won 1st prize in the same year in Brussels Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition, and he played in a concert at the Royal Museum of Fine Art in Brussels, Belgium. He has received several more awards in the following years up to now. At the piano competition this year in Munich, he received the first prize and the Klaus Schilde Prize. At the age of 16, he began studying piano on a Bachelor's degree, majoring in pedagogical and performance at the University of Music and Theater in Munich, and he studies in the class of Prof. Yuka Imamine. In November 2023, he won 2nd prize in the 6th International Franz Liszt Competition for Young Pianists in Weimar, Germany. He has done several master classes, such as with Prof. Oleg Marshev (Linz), Prof. Sebastian Euler (Innsbruck), Prof. Andreas Weber (Salzburg), and Prof. Karin Germer (Mainz).
