Javelyn Kryeziu, born in 2004 in Zurich, has received instruction from Sarah Haessig and performed with Maria João Pires. From 2014 to 2020, she studied under Dmitri Demiashkin at the Musikschule Konservatorium Zürich and the Zurich University of the Arts. Currently, she is studying with Vladimir Kharin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She has won numerous prizes at home and abroad, both as a soloist and in chamber music. In 2023, she also won 1st prize with distinction for piano solo in the final of the Swiss Youth Music Competition (sjmw) in Lugano and 2nd prize at the International Schubert Competition Riehen. In 2019, Javelyn Kryeziu made her debut at the Cuvilliés Theater in Munich with the Chamber Orchestra of the Bavarian Philharmonic (conductor Mark Mast). She played other important concerts with the Franz Schmidt Chamber Orchestra (conducted by Nicolas Radulescu) at the Main University of Vienna, in the Herkulessaal Munich with the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Lawrence Golan), with the Orchesterwerkstatt Appenzell (conducted by Roman Walker) in the Church of St. Peter Zurich and Appenzell. She has given solo concerts at the University of Zurich, ETH Zurich, Altes Rathaus Vienna, Bösendorfer Salon Vienna, Trinkhalle Bad Ischl, and Fux Conservatory Graz. Javelyn Kryeziu is a scholarship holder of the Lyra Foundation and receives support from the Rotary Club and private individuals.
