Schuyi Wang started learning the piano at the age of 5. Since the age of 14, she studied at the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School in Beijing with Steinway artist Prof. Chun Wang. After graduation, she continued her studies at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig with Prof. Christian A. Pohl. Schuyi is a prize winner in over 20 both Chinese and international piano competitions. Below is the main prize list: 2019 GOCAA International Piano Competition 1st prize. 2019 International Mendelssohn Piano Competition 1st prize and Grand Prix. 2020 Kingsburg Piano Competition 1st prize and Grand Prix. 2020 International Anton Rubinstein Piano Competition Düsseldorf Junior 1st prize. 2021 Steinway Piano Competition For Young Artists (Canada) 1st prize. 2020 International Competition for Young Pianists "Slobozhanska Fantasy" in Sumy, Ukraine, 3rd prize. 2023 Villafranca International Piano Competition 2nd prize. 2023 International Piano Competition "Spanish Composers" in Las Rozas, Spain (WFIMC) Diploma. In 2023, she received a scholarship and concert support in Germany from the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now foundation. Schuyi has collaborated as a pianist with several orchestras and conductors, such as the Liaoning Symphony Orchestra with Maestro Guang Shi, Northwestern University Orchestra with Maestro Yu Liu, and Master Orchester with Maestro Sergio Baietta. She has attended masterclasses with professors and pianists, including a masterclass with Prof. Ewa Kupiec, among others.
