Daniel, a student of Erna Gulabyan (a protege of Yakov Flier) and Vitaly Yunitskiy (a student of Mikhail Voskresensky and Tigran Alikhanov), has achieved notable success in his musical journey. Here are some of his accomplishments: Distinction in the DipABRSM exam, May 2022. 1st and Grand Prize (monetary award), 2023 CAPMT Concerto Competition for the State of California. Winner, 2023 Palo Alto Philharmonic Concerto Competition (performed Grieg’s Piano Concerto's 1st movement with the Philharmonic Orchestra). 2023 Music Teachers’ Association of California Concerto Regional Winner. Junior Division winner, 2021 Marilyn Mindell Piano Competition. 2023 Prize for composing film music, High School Student Film Festival. 1st prize, 2020 California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) Concerto Competition. Performances at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Robert Schumann Museum. In 2018, played Mozart’s 12th Piano Concerto with the Moscow Youth Symphony Orchestra as a winner of the American Festival of Fine Arts Concerto Competition. In 2023, Daniel was honored as the Youth Cultural Ambassador for San Mateo County, California. Beyond his musical achievements, Daniel is dedicated to supporting social causes. At the age of 10, he hosted a charity solo recital that raised over $15,000. In 2023, he organized another charity solo recital, raising over $40,000. His active role led to an invitation to participate as a Music for Peace delegate in the 2023 United Nations Economic and Social Council Youth Forum.
