Liu Ziyao, born in 2015 in Luoyang City, Henan Province, began studying piano at the age of four and a half at the Luoyang Qinsheng Art School. At five and a half, he continued his piano studies with Mr. Pei Hang, an Associate Professor at the School of Music of Luoyang Normal University. In May 2022, he achieved the 1st prize in the Henan Region of the 19th Xinghai Cup National Piano Competition in the Children's B Group. In July 2022, Liu Ziyao secured the 1st prize in Children's Group A in the Luoyang District of the Schumann China Youth Piano Competition. Further, in August 2022, he clinched the 1st prize in the Henan Competition of the Schumann China Youth Piano Competition Children's Group A (Henan Organizing Committee Free Push Qualification). Adding to his accomplishments in the same month, Liu Ziyao won the Grand Prize at the 19th Xinghai Cup National Elite Competition. His first solo concert took place successfully in August 2022. In February 2023, Liu Ziyao attained the 1st Prize in Group C of the 30th Chopin International Children's Piano Competition. He continued his success by winning the 1st Prize in the Grand Final of the National Youth Music Karma Competition in August 2023. His second solo concert was held in August 2023 at the Luoyang Xinghai Concert Hall.
